NEW! FingerSCAN DecedentID for iOS

We are happy to report that we now have an iOS version of FingerSCAN DecedentID. This is great news for coroners, medical examiners, death investigators and emergency responders that have iPhones or iPads. This app works the same as our Android and Windows versions to make the fingerprinting and identification process easier and with better image quality.

If you are currently ink fingerprinting decedents and submitting ink cards to your local identification unit, how much better will your process be if you can use your smartphone to create digital fingerprint records. Granted, you will need a compatible fingerprint scanner, but you will no longer have an ink mess to deal with and you could potentially receive an identification in the field as opposed to waiting several days to make an identification the old way. Not only does this app create digital fingerprint records, but it also generates a Decedent fingerprint card.

FingerSCAN DecedentID works with the IdentiFi-45 WiFi fingerprint scanner. This scanner has its own built-in WiFi hub so you can use it anywhere - even the most remote locations or basements where there is no WiFi. The images are FBI compliant and record sharing is done via secure WiFi or Cellular email or Secure FTP file transfer.

Current agencies with an active cross-platform account with WoVoIS can use the full features of FingerSCAN DecedentID for iOS.
